
Developers expect to break ground soon on a new residential housing development in Arvada after its City Council approved the master plan, according to Consilium Design of Centennial.
Leyden Rock, which will be near 82nd Avenue west of Indiana Street, includes plans for 1,439 homes on a 1,033-acre site.
The developer is a company called RRCEA LLC.
Plans include 600 acres of parks and open space, including three neighborhood parks, a community recreation center and over 14 miles of trails. Remington Homes is the main builder on the project.
Work on the development is expected to begin in 2012, Karn said.
