This is just a quick reminder for agents and buyers.
If you are buying a HUD home be sure you are aware that it takes 8 days after getting final loan approval to get a close date set. This is due to Pemco being an asset management company having who must sign off on the file and then having to send it to HUD to sign off and then back to the title company again.
With that being said be sure you are aware that you may need to file an extension on the offer date that maybe in jeopardy of expiring. This should be done 5 days before the offer expires and cost $375 for contracts over $50,000.
