The Denver metro area ranked 30th in the nation for job growth over the year ending in February out of the 100 largest metros, according to an analysis of new federal data.
The analysis is by G. Scott Thomas, who specializes in statistical research for The Business Journals, the national online news affiliate of the Denver Business Journal.
The Denver-Aurora-Broomfield metro area gained 8,600 non-farm jobs jobs over the 12-month span, for a total of 1,175,800, according to the U.S. Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics.
